47. X? Band? Song?
This particular place in X city has been an inspiration for a famous song by a very famous band. Later on it became part of the name of the album for that band. For the city X, and esp this place, a particular location related to this place was renamed after the band after a few years of release of the above-mentioned song. Identify X, the band and the song.
Answer: X is Berlin and the place is Berlin Zoologischer Garter railway station. The band is U2 which came up with the song Zoo Station. The Berlin U-Bahn line U2 passes through the station, it was numbered U1 at the time; a rearrangement and renumbering of the line took place in November 1993, when the section linking it to the remainder of the line in former East Berlin was reopened.
Correctly identified by pi-pu-xi-xu and Shekhar. Congratulations!

Q 42) What is the cartoon trying to mock?
ANSWER: Tom Webster in The Daily Express with a view of Body-line Series, Australia v England, 4th Test, Brisbane, February 6, 1933.
The English captain Douglas Jardine and fast bowler Harold Larwood combined to counter Don Bradman’s batting skills with an unsportsmanlike tactic. He bowled fast balls directed at the batsman’s body. The batsman trying to defend getting hurt would get out.
This prompted a change in the laws of cricket!

Q 40) Another one: Identify X, Y and Z:
When the lead singer of this girl rock band decided to spray paint a sentence on X's room, she just meant to say X was totally smitten by his girlfriend who performed in her band. But X felt it was a sign of revolution and used it to compose Y, which became a huge hit and helped his band Z propel to greater success:
ANSWER: X is Kurt Cobain, Y is Smells Like Teen Spirit and Z is Nirvana
Cobain came up with the song's title when his friend Kathleen Hanna, lead singer of the punk band Bikini Kill, spray-painted "Kurt Smells Like Teen Spirit" on his wall. What Hanna actually meant, was that Cobain smelled like the deodorant Teen Spirit, which his then-girlfriend Tobi Vail wore. But,since they had been discussing anarchism, punk rock, and similar topics, Cobain interpreted the slogan as having a revolutionary meaning and went on to compose Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Q 38) Connect with full explanation
a) "Do you know me"
b) O&M
c)
ANSWER: The connect is American Express.
Explanation: A typical ad for the American Express Card began with a celebrity asking viewers: "Do you know me?" C F Frost ( the name Amex features on the sample cards in its ads) is a real person. He was an account executive for the advertising firm of Ogilvy & Mather, which put together the original "Do you know me?" ads for American Express. Ogilvy and Amex thought it would be convenient to use Frost's name on the sample ads rather than some phony moniker, which would probably turn out to be the real name who might sue for privacy infringement.

Q 37) Identify
This building in US is one of the first of its kind in more ways than one. One of the most intriguing features of this building is its address. Digest this - If you were to look up its address on any map, you'd be pointed to the wrong location. This "vanity address" was deliberately chosen because the original address of where the building stands might be far too embarrassing given the business that is being carried out of it. What's the vanity address of this building ?
[ Hint - It's one of the newer buildings in the skyline ]
ANSWER: It is the new Goldman Sachs building in New York. Technically, it is on the MARGINAL Street, apparently not a "good" name to be associated with a giant investment bank. So, the vanity address "200 West Street" was requested and got the approval. Pratik's answer "Bank of America Tower" does have a vanity address but the story behind it is a bit different and was not the answer I was looking for.
