47. X? Band? Song?

This particular place in X city has been an inspiration for a famous song by a very famous band. Later on it became part of the name of the album for that band. For the city X, and esp this place, a particular location related to this place was renamed after the band after a few years of release of the above-mentioned song. Identify X, the band and the song.

Answer: X is Berlin and the place is Berlin Zoologischer Garter railway station. The band is U2 which came up with the song Zoo Station. The Berlin U-Bahn line U2 passes through the station, it was numbered U1 at the time; a rearrangement and renumbering of the line took place in November 1993, when the section linking it to the remainder of the line in former East Berlin was reopened.

Correctly identified by pi-pu-xi-xu and Shekhar. Congratulations!
